An Example of How Prevention is Cheaper than Treatment

I had to laugh.

My husband's work has a flex spending program where if you turn in up to $200 of out of pocket medical expenses, they reimburse you.

We had the hardest time coming up with $200!

We ended up using our co-pays for the chiropractor for the few adjustments we had last year.

Between the 3 of us we just barely had $200 to turn in for the year! That's right, we barely had $200 in out of pocket medical expenses for the year, most being just the $30 co-pays we had for chiropractic adjustments.

His coworkers were flabbergasted. Most spend more than $200 a month!

And people say vitamins are expensive. Ha!

Prevention is way cheaper and a whole lot more fun!
